New Update for Envision Glasses! Version 1.6.0

After months of research, development testing and refinement, Envision team is proud to announce our latest software updates, 1.6.0. Here's everything you need to know about the new update:

1. It's a big one

This update is significantly bigger than the updates that you're used to and that's because we have made some significant improvements to the Envision Glasses read function and battery performance. Watch this video where Maria from Envision explains what’s new:

2. Smart Guidance : Make sure you get the whole document, quickly and reliably.

Simple, yet effective, Smart Guidance ensures you capture your entire document while using the Scan Text or Batch Scan feature on your Envision Glasses. Developing this feature was no easy task, but our team and group of testers channeled their energies to make it happen!

3. Layout Detection : Read every document, the way you were meant to

The addition of Layout Detection makes it easier for you to read your favorite newspapers and magazines. By identifying text elements such as columns, paragraphs, and headings, Layout Detection reads content in the correct order and speaks out ‘Headings’. Go to Scan Text or Batch Scan, open the context menu by doing a two-finger single tap and make sure that Layout Detection is enabled.
